2026 Summer Term Classes

WHAT WILL MY CHILD DO IN CLASS?

Each class is designed to be inspiring, supportive and hands-on, giving children the confidence to explore ideas while learning through making and doing. Children are guided and encouraged as they work individually, in pairs and in small groups, supporting both independence and collaboration.

Classes follow a similar process to how architects work. Children are first introduced to ideas, images and examples to spark curiosity and provide inspiration. They then use this information to draw, plan and create their own buildings and spaces, experimenting with materials and problem-solving.

Towards the end of each class, children are invited to share and talk about their ideas in an encouraging and supportive environment. They’ll reflect on what they designed, why they made certain choices, and how their ideas could be developed further, building confidence, communication skills and creative thinking.

At the end of each class, children take their drawings and models home so families can see what they’ve created and learned.

MATERIALS

All tools and materials are provided, so no need to bring anything from home.

CLOTHING

Classes get creative but not overly messy, so everyday casual clothes are perfect.

SCHEDULE

Each class runs for 1.5 hours. Classes start at 10.45am and finish at 12.15pm.

Term 1 consists of 7 standalone classes, and children are welcome to attend just one session or multiple sessions. Class dates are as follows:

(Sundays) 15th, 22nd February and 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th March 2026.

WE’D LOVE YOUR FEEDBACK

Little Architect Studio is a brand new venture, and these Term 1 classes are the very beginning of this journey.

My dream is to grow Little Architect Studio into a welcoming creative space where children can access architectural education across Melbourne and beyond — through classes, camps, workshops and events for different ages and abilities. I’d love to hear any thoughts or suggestions from you or your child, as your feedback will help shape the studio as it grows.

Thank you :)
